The Man

(Madnie, Surah # 76, Verses 31 )

ALLAH CREATED MAN FROM A SPERM-DROP

76:1 There surely came over man a period of time when he was a thing not worth mentioning.

76:2 Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.

76:3 We showed him the right path whether he would be grateful or ungrateful.

76:4 Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire.

REWARDS FOR A BELIEVER IN PARADISE

76:5 Verily, the Abrar (pious, who fear Allah), shall drink a cup (of wine) mixed with water from a spring in Paradise called Kafur.

76:6  A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].

76:7 They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading.

76:8 And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,

76:9 We only feed you for Allah's sake; we desire from you neither reward nor thanks:

76:10 "Verily, We fear from our Lord a Day, hard and distressful

76:11 So Allah saved them from the evil of that Day, and gave them Nadratan (a light of beauty) and joy.

76:12 And their recompense shall be Paradise, and silken garments, because they were patient.

76:13 Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon).

76:14 The shades of the garden will be closely spread over them and it will be easy for them to reach the fruits.

76:15  They will be served with silver dishes and crystal clear glasses.

76:16 Also there will be crystal clear glasses of silver containing the exact measure of drink which they desire.

76:17 And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger

76:18 [From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel.

76:19  There will circulate among them young boys made eternal. When you see them, you would think them [as beautiful as] scattered pearls.

76:20 And when you look there [in Paradise], you will see pleasure and great kingdom.

76:21 Their garments will be of fine green silk, and gold embroidery. They will be adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord will give them with a drink of pure wine.

76:22 [And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated."

ALLAH SENT QURAN TO MUHAMMAD IN STAGES

76:23 Verily! It is We Who have sent down the Quran to you (O Muhammad SAW) by stages.

76:24 Therefore be patient (Muhammad) and submit to the Command of your Lord, and obey neither a sinner nor a disbeliever among them.

76:25 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon

76:26 And during night, prostrate yourself to Him, and glorify Him a long night through (i.e. Tahajjud prayer).

76:27 These people (disbelievers) love the worldly life and neglect the terrifying day which will come.

76:28 We have created them (mankind) and have given them strength. Had We wanted, We could have replaced them with another people like them.

76:29 Verily! This (Verses of the Quran) is a reminder, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allah).

76:30  But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.

76:31 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will and as for the Zalimun, He has prepared a painful torment.
