SHAITAN

2:34. And (remember) when We said to the angels: “Prostrate yourselves before Adam.”. And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers 

2:36. Then the Shaitan (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: “Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time.”

2:168. O mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and good on the earth, and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan. Verily, he is to you an open enemy.

2:169. [Shaitan] He tries to make you do evil and shameful things and speak against Allah without knowledge.

2:208. Believers, submit yourselves to the will of God as a whole. Do not follow the footsteps of Shaitan; he is your clear enemy.

2:268. Shaitan threatens you with poverty and orders you to commit Fahsha. whereas Allah promises you Forgiveness from Himself and Bounty, and Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower.

3:175. That is only Shaitan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.

4:38. Likewise for those who spend their wealth to show off and do not believe in Allah or the Last Day. And whoever takes Satan as an associate—what an evil associate they have!

4:76 Believers fight for the cause of Allah, whereas disbelievers fight for the cause of the Shaitan. So fight against Satan’s ˹evil˺ forces. Indeed, Satan’s schemes are ever weak.

4:117 They call upon instead of Him none but female [deities], and they [actually] call upon none but a rebellious Shaitan,4:118 Allah cursed him. And he [Shaitan said]: "I will take an appointed portion of your slaves;

4:119 Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss.

4:120 He [Shaitan] makes promises to them, and arouses in them false desires; and Shaitan's promises are nothing but deceptions.

5:90 O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, Al­Ansab, and Al­Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's  handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful.

5:91 Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. Will you then avoid such things?

6:43 Why did they not humble themselves when We made them suffer? Instead, their hearts were hardened, and Shaitan made their misdeeds appealing to them

6:68 And when you (Muhammad SAW) see those who engage in a false conversation about Our Verses (of the Quran) by mocking at them, stay away from them till they turn to another topic. And if Shaitan causes you to forget, then after the remembrance sit not you in the company of those people who are the Zalimun.

6:71 Say to them, "Should we, instead of asking for God's help, seek help from that which can neither benefit nor harm us, but would only turn us back to disbelief after God had granted us guidance? To do so would be to act like (those who have been) seduced by Shaitan, leaving them wandering aimlessly here and there, even though their friends call them, 'Come to the right guidance that has come to us.' " Say, "God's guidance is the only true guidance and we are commanded to submit ourselves to the Lord of the Universe.

6:142 And of the cattle (are some) for burden and (some are) small. Eat of what Allah has provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan. Surely he is to you an open enemy.

7:14 He appealed, “Then delay my end until the Day of their resurrection.”

7:15 Allah said, “You are delayed ˹until the appointed Day˺.”

7:16 Then Shaitan said, "Because you have made me go astray, I shall certainly try to seduce people into straying from the right path.

7:17 I will approach them from their front, their back, their right, their left, and then You will find most of them ungrateful.”

7:18 Allah said, “Get out of Paradise! You are disgraced and rejected! I will certainly fill up Hell with you and your followers all together.”

7:20Then Shaitan whispered suggestions to them both in order to uncover that which was hidden from them of their private parts (before); he said:“Your Lord has forbidden this tree to you only to prevent you from becoming angels or immortals.”

7:21 And he swore to them, “I am truly your sincere advisor.”

7:22 So he misled them with deception.And when they tasted of the tree, their nakedness was exposed to them, prompting them to cover themselves with leaves from Paradise. Then their Lord called out to them, “Did I not forbid you from that tree and ˹did I not˺ tell you that Shaitan is your open enemy?”

7:27 O Children of Adam! Let not Shaitan deceive you, as he got your parents [Adam and Hawwa] out of Paradise and caused their cover to be removed in order to expose their nakedness. Surely he(Shaitan) and his soldiers see you from where you cannot see them. We have made the devils allies(friends) of those who disbelieve.

7:175 And recite (O Muhammad) to them the story of him to whom We gave Our Ayat , but he threw them away, so Shaitan followed him up, and he became of those who went astray.

7:200 If you are tempted by Satan, then seek refuge with Allah. Surely He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

7:201 Indeed, when Satan whispers to those mindful ˹of Allah˺, they remember ˹their Lord˺ then they start to see ˹things˺ clearly.

8:48. And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; Verily! I fear Allah for Allah is Severe in punishment.”

14:22And Satan will say ˹to his followers˺ after the judgment has been passed, “Indeed, Allah has made you a true promise. I too made you a promise, but I failed you. I did not have any authority over you. I only called you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; blame yourselves. I cannot save you, nor can you save me.I deny your former act in associating me (Satan) as a partner with Allah Verily, there is a painful torment for the Zalimun.

15:39 Iblis said, "Lord, because you have caused me to go astray, I shall make earthly things attractive to (people) and mislead all of them

15:40 "Except Your chosen, (guided) slaves among them."

16:36 To every nation We sent a Messenger who told its people, "Worship Allah and stay away from shaitan." Some of them were guided by Allah and others were doomed to go astray. Travel through the land and see how terrible the end was for those who rejected the truth!

16:63 By Allah , We did certainly send [messengers] to nations before you, but Shaitan made their deeds attractive to them. And he is the disbelievers' alli today [as well], and they will have a painful punishment.

16:98 So when you recite the Qur'an, [first] seek refuge in Allah from the mischief of Satan.

16:99 Satan has certainly no authority over the believers who put their trust in their Lord.

16:100 His power is only over those who obey and follow him (Satan), and those who join partners with Him (Allah)

18:50 And (remember) when We said to the angels;"Prostrate to Adam." So they prostrated except Iblis (Shaitan). He was one of the jinns; he disobeyed the Command of his Lord. Will you then take him (Iblis) and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you? What an evil is the exchange for the Zalimun

22:52 Whenever We sent a messenger or a prophet before you ˹O Prophet˺ and he recited ˹Our revelations˺, Satan would influence ˹people’s understanding of˺ his recitation. But ˹eventually˺ Allah would eliminate Shaitan’s influence. Then Allah would ˹firmly˺ establish His revelations. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

22:53 All that so He may make Satan’s influence a trial for those ˹hypocrites˺ whose hearts are sick and those ˹disbelievers˺ whose hearts are hardened. Surely the wrongdoers are totally engrossed in opposition.

24:21 O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allah purifies whom He wills, and Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

25:28 Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.

25:29 "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Quran) after it had come to me. And Shaitan  is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need."

26:221 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend?

26:222 They descend upon every sinful liar,

31:21 When it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has revealed,” they reply, “No! We ˹only˺ follow what we found our forefathers practicing.” ˹Would they still do so˺ even if Shaitan is inviting them to the torment of the Blaze?

35:5 O humanity! Indeed, Allah’s promise is true. So do not let the life of this world deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver (Shatan)deceive you about Allah.

35:6 Surely, Shaitan  is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. He only invites his  (followers) that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire.

58:19 Shaitan has overtaken them (hypocrites). So he has made them forget the remembrance of Allah. They are the party of Shaitan. Verily, it is the party of Shaitan that will be the losers!
