SURAH MULK

The Kingdom

(Maccie, Surah # 67, Verses 30 )

GLORIFY ALLAH

67:1  Blessed is He in whose hands is the Kingdom and who has power over all things.

67:2 It is He who has created death and life to put you to the test and see which of you is most best in your deeds. He is Mighty and All-forgiving.

DO YOU SEE ANY FLAWS IN SEVEN HEAVENS?

67:3 ˹He is the One˺ Who created seven heavens, one above the other. You will never see any imperfection in the creation of the Most Compassionate. So look again: do you see any flaws?

67:4  Look twice (and keep on looking), your eyes will only become dull and tired.

STARS TO DRIVE AWAY SHAITAN

67:5 And indeed We have adorned the lowest heaven with stars like lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayatin (devils), and have prepared for them the torment of the blazing Fire.

DID A WARNER NOT COME TO YOU?

67:6 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination.

67:7 When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] roaring while it boils up.

67:8 It almost bursts with rage. Every time a group is cast into it, its keepers will ask them, “Did a warner not come to you?”

67:9 They will reply, “Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied and said, ‘Allah has revealed nothing. You are only in great error.'"

67:10 And they will Say, “If only we had listened or used our mind, we would not be among the residents of the Blazing Fire”

67:11 They will confess to their sins, but the dwellers of hell will be far away from Allah's (mercy).

ALLAH KNOWS HIS CREATION

67:12 Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.

67:13 Whether you speak secretly or openly—He surely knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart.

67:14 How could He not know His Own creation? For He ˹alone˺ is the Most Kind, All-Aware.

67:15 It is He who made the earth stable  for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision -Before Him you will all be resurrected. 

DO YOU FEEL SECURE?

67:16 Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah),will not cause you to sink into the earth when it is violently shaking?

67:17 Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heavens would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warnings.

67:18 And certainly those before them denied ˹as well˺, then how severe was My response!

ALLAH UPHOLDS BIRDS IN THE SKY

67:19 Do they not see the birds above them, spreading out their wings and folding them in? None upholds them except the Most Beneficent (Allah). Verily, He is the All-Seer of everything.

WHO IS HE OTHER THAN ALLAH

67:20 Who is he besides the Most Beneficent that can be an army to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion.

67:21 Who is he that can provide for you if He should withhold His provision? Nay, but they continue to be in pride, and (they) flee (from the truth).

67:22 Who is ˹rightly˺ guided: the one who crawls facedown or the one who walks upright on the Straight Path?

67:23 Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “He is the One Who brought you into being and gave you hearing, sight, and intellect. ˹Yet˺ you hardly give any thanks.”

67:24 Say: "It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)."

PROMISE FOR A DAY OF RESURRECTION WILL COME!

67:25 They say: "When will this promise (Day of Resurrection) come to pass? if you are telling the truth."

67:26 Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “That knowledge is with Allah alone, and I am only sent with a clear warning.”

67:27 But when they will see it (the torment on the Day of Resurrection) approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be different (black, sad, and in grieve), and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise) which you were calling for!"

WHO WILL PROTECT DISBELIEVERS?

67:28 (Muhammad), say, "Have you not considered that regardless whether Allah forgives me and my followers or grants us mercy, but who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment?

67:29 Say: "He is the Most Beneficent, in Him we believe, and in Him we put our trust. So you will come to know who is it that is in manifest error."

67:30 Say,(Muhammad) "Have you not thought that if your water was to dry up,who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?"
