People were worshiping sun, moon stars and idols. Allah asked him to build a house in Makka. Maqam-e-Ibrahim because he stood on a rock for so long to build Kabba that his footsteps had an impression of his foot. Gabril brought White rock from heaven and placed it in the beginning corner. He called the people to come make a pilgrimage. and people till now respond Labaik allahuma labaik.
Ibrahim left Hajar & Ismail in Dessert. Zam Zam. Safa Marwa, Sacrifice his son, Stoning Shaitan, hajar Died, Ismail wifes- Change the doorsteps & Keep- 3 Angels came to Ibrahim to give him a message that Lut's people will be destroyed and Sarah will have a child.
2:124. ˹Remember˺ when Ibrahim was tested by his Lord with ˹certain˺ commandments, which he fulfilled. Allah said, “Verily, I am going to make you a leader (Prophet) of mankind.” Ibrahim said, “What about my offspring?.” (Allah) said, “My Covenant (Prophethood, etc.) does not include the wrongdoers..”
2:125. And (remember) when We made the House (the Ka’bah) a place of resort for mankind and a place of safety. And take you (people) the Maqam (place) of Ibrahim as a place of prayer, and We commanded Ibrahim and Isma’il that they should purify My House for those who visit it, or staying (I’tikaf), or bowing or prostrating themselves (there, in prayer).
2:126. And (remember) when Ibrahim said, “My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, those among them who believe in Allah and the Last Day.” He (Allah) answered: “As for those who disbelieve, I will let them enjoy themselves for a little while, then I shall condemn him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!”
2:127. And (remember) when Ibrahim and (his son) Isma’il were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka’bah), (saying),
“Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.”
“Our Lord! Make us both ˹fully˺ submit to You and from our descendants a nation that will submit to you and show us our rituals, and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.
2:129.Our Lord! Raise from among them a messenger who will recite to them Your revelations, teach them the Book and wisdom, and purify them. Indeed, You ˹alone˺ are the Almighty, All-Wise.”
2:130. And who turns away from the religion of Ibrahim except him who befools himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.
NIMROD -
2:258. Have you not looked at him who disputed with Ibrahim about his Lord (Allah), because Allah had given him the kingdom? When Ibrahim said (to him): “My Lord is He Who gives life and causes death.” He said, “I give life and cause death.” Ibrahim said, “Verily! Allah causes the sun to rise from the east; So make it rise from the west ” So the disbeliever was utterly defeated. And Allah guides not the people, who are Zalimun.
6:74And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said to his father Azar: "Do you take idols as aliha (gods)? Verily, I see you and your people in absolute error."
6:75 Also, We showed (Abraham) the kingdom of the heavens and the earth to strengthen his faith.
7:76When the night grew dark upon him, he saw a star and said, “This is my Lord!” But when it set, he said, “I do not love things that set.”
7:77 Then when he saw the moon rising, he said, “This one is my Lord!” But when it disappeared, he said, “If my Lord does not guide me, I will certainly be one of the misguided people.”
7:78 Then when he saw the sun shining, he said, “This must be my Lord—it is the greatest!” But again when it set, he declared, “O my people! I totally reject whatever you associate ˹with Allah in worship˺.
7:79 Verily, I have turned my face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth- being upright and I am not of Al-Mushrikun
7:80 And his people argued with him. He responded, “Are you arguing with me about Allah, while He has guided me? I am not afraid of whatever ˹idols˺ you associate with Him—˹none can harm me,˺ unless my Lord so wills. My Lord encompasses everything in ˹His˺ knowledge. Will you not be mindful?
7:81 And how should I fear your associate-gods, while you have no fear in associating ˹others˺ with Allah—a practice He has never authorized? Which side has more right to security? ˹Tell me˺ if you really know!”
7:82 They who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice - those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided.
7:83 And that was Our [conclusive] argument which We gave Abraham against his people. We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing.
11:69 And surely Our messenger-angels came to Abraham with good news ˹of a son˺. They greeted ˹him with˺, “Peace!” And he replied, “Peace ˹be upon you˺!” Then it was not long before he brought ˹them˺ a ˹fat,˺ roasted calf.
11:70 And when he saw that their hands did not reach for the food, he became suspicious and fearful of them.1 They reassured ˹him˺, “Do not be afraid! We are ˹angels˺ sent ˹only˺ against the people of Lot.”
11:71And his wife was standing by, so she laughed,1 then We gave her good news of ˹the birth of˺ Ishaq, and, after him, Yacoob.
11:72 She said (in astonishment): "Woe unto me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman, and here is my husband, an old man? Verily! This is a strange thing!"
11:73 They said: "Do you wonder at the Decree of Allah? The Mercy of Allah and His Blessings be on you, O the family [of Ibrahim (Abraham)]. Surely, He (Allah) is All-Praiseworthy, All-Glorious."
11:74 Then when the fear had gone away from (the mind of) Ibrahim (Abraham), and the glad tidings had reached him, he began to plead with Us (Our Messengers) for the people of Lout (Lot).
11:75 Truly, Abraham was forbearing, tender-hearted, and ever turning ˹to his Lord˺.
11:76The angels said,˺ “O Abraham! Plead no more! Your Lord’s decree has already come, and they will certainly be afflicted with a punishment that cannot be averted!”
14:35 And (remember) when Ibrahim said: "O my Lord! Make this city (Makkah) one of peace and security, and keep me and my sons away from worshiping idols.
14:36 My Lord! They have caused many people to go astray. So whoever follows me is with me, and whoever disobeys me—then surely You are ˹still˺ All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
14:37 Our Lord! I have settled some of my offspring in a barren valley, near Your Sacred House, our Lord, so that they may establish prayer. So make the hearts of ˹believing˺ people incline towards them and provide them with fruits, so perhaps they will be thankful.
Our Lord! You certainly know what we conceal and what we reveal. Nothing on earth or in heaven is hidden from Allah.
14:39 All praise is for Allah who has blessed me with Ishmael and Isaac in my old age. My Lord is indeed the Hearer of ˹all˺ prayers.
"O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salat, and (also) from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my prayers.
Our Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the judgment will come to pass.”
15:51 And tell them about the guests (the angels) of Ibrahim
15:52 When they entered unto him, and said: Salam (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you."
15:53 They reassured ˹him˺, “Do not be afraid! Surely we give you good news of a knowledgeable son.”
15:54 Ibrahim said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me?What reason can you give for such glad news?"
15:55 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing."
15:56 Ibrahim said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are misguided?"
15:57 Ibrahim said: "What then is the mission on which you have come, O Messengers?"
29:24 So nothing was the answer of [Ibrahim's] people except that they said: "Kill him or burn him." Then Allah saved him from the fire. Verily, in this are indeed signs for a people who believe.
29:25 And [Ibrahim] said: "You have taken (for worship) idols instead of Allah, and the love between you is only in the life of this world, but on the Day of Resurrection, you shall disown each other, and curse each other, and your abode will be the Fire, and you shall have no helper."
29:26 So Lut believed in him. And Abraham said, “I am emigrating ˹in obedience˺ to my Lord. He ˹alone˺ is indeed the Almighty, All-Wise.”
29:27We blessed him with Ishaq and ˹later˺ Yaqub, and reserved prophethood and revelation for his descendants. We gave him his reward in this life,1 and in the Hereafter he will certainly be among the righteous.
37:83 And indeed, one of those who followed his way was Ibrahim.
37:84 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart
37:85 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship?
37:86 Is it false gods that you desire instead of Allah?
37:87 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin
37:88 And he cast a look at the stars
37:89 And he said: "Verily, I am sick
37:90 So they turned away from him, and departed
37:91 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? (your offerings)
37:92 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?"
37:93 Then he turned upon them, striking (them) with (his) right hand.
37:94 Then the people came toward him, hastening.
37:95 He argued, “How can you worship what you carve ˹with your own hands˺,
37:96 "While Allah has created you and what you make!"
37:97 They said ˹to one another˺, “Build him a furnace and cast him into the blazing fire.”
37:98 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest.
37:99 He later said, “I am leaving ˹in obedience˺ to my Lord. He will guide me.
37:100 My Lord! Bless me with righteous offspring.”
37:101 So We gave him good news of a forbearing son.
37:102 Then when the boy reached the age to work with him, Ibrahim said, “O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I ˹must˺ sacrifice you. So tell me what you think.” He replied, “O my dear father! Do as you are commanded. Allah willing, you will find me steadfast.”
37:103 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead,
37:104 We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!
37:105 You have fulfilled the dream (vision)!" Verily! Thus do We reward the Muhsinun
37:106 Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial
37:107 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice,
37:108 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations
37:109 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim
37:110th indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers)
37:111Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves.
37:112 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous.
37:113 We blessed him1 and Isaac as well. Some of their descendants did good, while others clearly wronged themselves.
