2:30. And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: “Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth.” They said: “Will You place therein those who will make mischief and shed blood, – while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You.” He (Allah) said: “I know that which you do not know.”
2:31. And He taught Adam all the names (of everything) , then He showed them to the angels and said, “Tell Me the names of these if you are truthful.”
2:32. They (angels) said: “Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what you have taught us. Verily, it is You, the All-Knower, the All-Wise.”
2:33. He said: “O Adam! Inform them of their names,” and when he had informed them of their names, He said: “Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (unseen) in the heavens and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?”
2:34. And (remember) when We said to the angels: “Prostrate yourselves before Adam.”. And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers
2:35. And We said: “O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimun (wrong-doers).”
2:36. Then the Shaitan (Satan) made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: “Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time.”
2:37. Then Adam received from his Lord Words . And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful.
2:38. We said: “Get down all of you from this place (the Paradise), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve.
and verses from (Surah Al-A'raaf 7: 11-25)
7:11 Surely We created you, then shaped you, then said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam,” so they all did—but not Iblîs,2 who refused to prostrate with the others.
7:12 Allah asked, “What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?” He replied, “I am better than he is: You created me from fire and him from clay.”
7:13 Allah said, “Then get down from Paradise! It is not for you to be arrogant here. So get out! You are truly one of the disgraced.”
7:14 He appealed, “Then delay my end until the Day of their resurrection.”
7:15 Allah said, “You are delayed ˹until the appointed Day˺.”
7:16 Then Satan said, "Because you have made me go astray, I shall certainly try to seduce people into straying from the right path.
7:17 I will approach them from their front, their back, their right, their left, and then You will find most of them ungrateful.”
7:18 Allah said, “Get out of Paradise! You are disgraced and rejected! I will certainly fill up Hell with you and your followers all together.”
7:19 Allah said,˺ “O Adam! Live with your wife in Paradise and eat from wherever you please, but do not approach this tree, or else you will be wrongdoers.”
7:20Then Shaitan (Satan) whispered suggestions to them both in order to uncover that which was hidden from them of their private parts (before); he said:“Your Lord has forbidden this tree to you only to prevent you from becoming angels or immortals.”
7:21 And he swore to them, “I am truly your sincere advisor.”
7:22 So he misled them with deception. And when they tasted of the tree, their nakedness was exposed to them, prompting them to cover themselves with leaves from Paradise. Then their Lord called out to them, “Did I not forbid you from that tree and ˹did I not˺ tell you that Satan is your open enemy?”
DUA
7:23 They replied,
“Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will certainly be losers.”
7:24 Said He, 'Get down, each of you an enemy to each other. You will find in the earth a residence and provision for your appointed stay.”
7:25 He also said, “There you will live, there you will die, and from there you will be resurrected.”
5:27 (Muhammad) tell them the true story of the two sons of Adam (Abel and Cain). Each one of them offered a sacrifice. Allah accepted the sacrifice of one of them (Abel) but not that of the other (Cain) who then said to his brother, "I shall certainly kill you." (Abel) replied, "Allah only accepts the offerings of the pious ones.
5:28"If you do stretch your hand against me to kill me, I shall never stretch my hand against you to kill you, for I fear Allah; the Lord of the 'Alamin
5:29"Verily, I intend to let you draw my sin on yourself as well as yours, then you will be one of the dwellers of the Fire, and that is the recompense of the Zalimun
5:30And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers.
5:31Then Allah sent a crow who scratched the ground to show him to hide the dead body of his brother. He (the murderer) said: "Woe to me! Am I not even able to be like this crow and to hide the dead body of my brother?" Then he became one of those who regretted it.
20:115 And indeed, We once made a covenant with Adam, but he forgot, and ˹so˺ We did not find determination in him.
20:116 And ˹remember˺ when We said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam,” so they all did—but not Iblîs, who refused ˹arrogantly˺.
20:117 So We cautioned, “O Adam! This is surely an enemy to you and to your wife. So do not let him drive you both out of Paradise, for you ˹O Adam˺ would then suffer ˹hardship˺.
20:118 Here it is guaranteed that you will never go hungry or unclothed,
20:119 nor will you ˹ever˺ suffer from thirst or ˹the sun’s˺ heat.”
20:120 But Satan whispered to him, saying, “O Adam! Shall I show you the Tree of Immortality and a kingdom that does not fade away?”
20:121 So they both ate from the tree and then their nakedness was exposed to them, prompting them to cover themselves with leaves from Paradise. So Adam disobeyed his Lord, and ˹so˺ lost his way.
IBLIS AND ADAM
38:71 ˹Remember, O Prophet˺ when your Lord said to the angels, “I am going to create a human being from clay.
38:72 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him."
38:73 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely.
38:74 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers.
38:75 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or have you always been arrogant?”
38:76 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay."
38:77 Allah commanded, “Then get out of Paradise, for you are truly cursed.
38:78 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Judgment.”
38:79 Satan appealed, “My Lord! Then delay my end until the Day of their resurrection.”
38:80 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite
38:81 "Till the Day of the time appointed."
38:82 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all,
38:83 except Your chosen servants among them.”
38:84 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say,
38:85 I will surely fill up Hell with you and whoever follows you from among them, all together.”
