32-SAJDAH 

SURAH SAJDAH 

The Prostration 

(Maccie, Surah # 32, Verses 30)

32:1 Alif-Lãm-Mĩm.

QURAN AS GUIDANCE

32:2 There is no doubt that this Book (Quran) is revealed by the Lord of the Universe.

32:3 Do they say that he, (Muhammad), has invented it? No! It is the truth from your Lord in order for you to warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, so they may be ˹rightly˺ guided.

CREATION IN 6 DAYS- A DAY EQUALS TO 1000 YEARS

32:4 It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth and everything in between in six Days, then established Himself on the Throne. You have no protector or intercessor besides Him. Will you not then be mindful?

32:5 He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.

32:6 That is He, the All­Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All­Mighty, the Most Merciful.

HUMAN CREATION

32:7 It is He Who created everything in the best manner and began the creation of the human being from clay.

32:8 Then He made his offspring from semen of worthless water

32:9 Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.

DEATH 

32:10 They have said, "How can we be brought to life again after we have been lost in the earth?" In fact, they have no faith in the Day of Judgment

32:11 (Muhammad), say, "The angel of death, who is appointed over everyone of you, will cause you to die and to your Lord you will all return."

DISBELIEVER CONFESS

32:12And if you only could see when the Mujrimun shall hang their heads(in shame) before their Lord (saying): "Our Lord! We have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world), we will do righteous good deeds. Verily! We now believe with certainty."

32:13 And if We had willed, We could have given every soul its guidance, but the word from Me will come into effect [that] "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and people all together.

32:14 So taste ˹the punishment˺ for neglecting the meeting of this Day of yours. We ˹too˺ will certainly neglect you. And taste the torment of eternity for what you used to do!

TRUE BELIEVERS

32:15 The only ˹true˺ believers in Our revelation are those who—when it is recited to them—fall into prostration and glorify the praises of their Lord and are not too proud.

32:16 They abandon their beds, supplicate their Lord with hope and fear, and donate from what We have provided for them.

32:17 And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes [i.e., satisfaction] as reward for what they used to do.

32:18 Is the one who is a believer equal ˹before Allah˺ to the one who is rebellious? They are not equal!

32:19 As for those who believe and do good, they will have the Gardens of ˹Eternal˺ Residence—as an accommodation for what they used to do.

32:20 But as for those who are rebellious, the Fire will be their home. Whenever they try to escape from it, they will be forced back into it, and will be told, “Taste the Fire’s torment, which you used to deny.”

32:21 We will certainly make them taste some of the minor (wordly) torment ˹in this life˺ before the major torment ˹of the Hereafter˺, so perhaps they will return ˹to the Right Path˺.

32:22 Who does more wrong than those who are reminded of the revelation of their Lord, but have ignored them? We will take revenge on the criminal.

32:23Indeed, We gave the Scripture to Moses—so let there be no doubt ˹O Prophet˺ that you ˹too˺ are receiving revelations. And We made it [i.e., the Torah] guidance for the Children of Israel.

32:24And We made from among them (Children of Israel), leaders, giving guidance under Our Command, when they were patient and used to believe with certainty in Our Ayat.

32:25 Indeed, your Lord will decide between them on the Day of Judgment regarding their differences.

32:26Was it not a lesson for them, (the unbelievers), that We destroyed the many generations living before them among whose ruined dwellings they are now walking. In this there is many evidence (of the truth). Will they not then listen?

32:27 Have they not seen that We drive the water to the barren land and cause crops to grow which they and their cattle consume? Why, then, they will not see?

32:28 They ask ˹mockingly˺, “When is this ˹Day of final˺ Decision, if what you say is true?”

32:29 Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “On the Day of Decision it will not benefit the disbelievers to believe then, nor will they be delayed ˹from punishment˺.”

32:30 So turn away from them and wait. Indeed, they are waiting.
