Prophet Nuh called people for 950 years. Only 80 people turn to Allah. He made an Ark. Allah sent rain from sky and water gushed from land and the disbelievers drowned and died.
7:59 Indeed, We sent Noah to his people. He said, “O my people! Worship Allah—you have no other god except Him. I truly fear for you the torment of a tremendous Day.”
7:60 The leaders of his people said: "Verily, we see you in plain error."
7:61He replied, “O my people! I am not misguided! But I am a messenger from the Lord of all worlds.
7:62"I convey unto you the Messages of my Lord and give sincere advice to you. And I know from Allah what you know not.
7:63"Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder from your Lord through a man from amongst you, that he may warn you, so that you may fear Allah and that you may receive (His) Mercy?"
7:64 But they rejected him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark, and drowned those who rejected Our signs. They were certainly a blind people.
10:71(Muhammad), tell them the story of Noah who told his people, "Even if my belief and my preaching of the revelation of God seem strange to you, I put my trust in Him.So devise a plot along with your associate-gods—and you do not have to be secretive about your plot—then carry it out against me without delay!
10:72 And if you turn away, ˹remember˺ I have never demanded a reward from you ˹for delivering the message˺. My reward is only from Allah. And I have been commanded to be one of those who submit ˹to Allah˺.”
10:73 But they still rejected him, so We saved him and those with him in the Ark and made them successors, and drowned those who rejected Our signs. See then what was the end of those who had been warned!
11:25 Surely We sent Noah to his people. ˹He said,˺ “Indeed, I am sent to you with a clear warning
11:26 that you should worship none but Allah. I truly fear for you the torment of a painful Day.”
11:27The disbelieving chiefs of his people said, “We see you only as a human being like ourselves, and we see that no one follows you except the lowliest among us, and they (too) followed you without thinking. We do not see anything that makes ˹all of˺ you any better than us. In fact, we think you are liars.”
11:28 He said, "O my people have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord while He has given me mercy from Himself but it has been made unapparent to you, should we force it upon you while it is against your will?
11:29 O my people! I do not ask you for a payment for this ˹message˺. My reward is only from Allah. And I will never dismiss the believers, for they will surely meet their Lord. But I can see that you are a people acting ignorantly.
11:30 My people, who would protect me against God if I were to drive these people away? Will you then not take heed?
11:31"And I do not say to you that with me are the Treasures of Allah, "Nor that I know the Ghaib (unseen);"nor do I say I am an angel, and I do not say of those whom your eyes look down upon that Allah will not bestow any good on them. Allah knows what is in their inner-selves (as regards belief, etc.). In that case, I should, indeed be one of the Zalimun
11:32They protested, “O Noah! You have argued with us far too much, so bring upon us what you threaten us with, if what you say is true.”
11:33 He responded, “It is Allah Who can bring it upon you if He wills, and then you will have no escape!
11:34 My advice will not benefit you—no matter how hard I try—if Allah wills ˹for˺ you to stray. He is your Lord, and to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned.
11:35 Or do they say, “He (Muhammad) has fabricated this ˹Quran˺!”? Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If I have done so, then I bear the burden of that sin! But I am free from your sinful accusation.”
11:36 And it was revealed to Noah that, "No one will believe from your people except those who have already believed, so do not be distressed by what they have been doing.
11:37And build the Ark under Our ˹watchful˺ Eyes and directions, and do not plead with Me for those who have done wrong, for they will surely be drowned.”
11:38 So he began to build the Ark, and whenever some of the chiefs of his people passed by, they mocked him. He said, “If you laugh at us, we will ˹soon˺ laugh at you similarly.
11:39 You will soon come to know who will be visited by a humiliating torment ˹in this life˺ and overwhelmed by an everlasting punishment ˹in the next˺.”
11:40And when Our command came and the oven burst (water like fountains from the earth). We said ˹to Noah˺, “Take into the Ark a pair from every species along with your family—except those against whom the decree ˹to drown˺ has already been passed—and those who believe.” But none believed with him except for a few.
11:41 And he said, “Board it! In the Name of Allah it will sail and cast anchor. Surely my Lord is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
11:42And ˹so˺ the Ark sailed with them through waves like mountains. Noah called out to his son, who stood apart, “O my dear son! Come aboard with us and do not be with the disbelievers.”
11:43 He replied, “I will take refuge on a mountain, which will protect me from the water.” Noah cried, “Today no one is protected from Allah’s decree except those to whom He shows mercy!” And the waves came between them, and his son was among the drowned.
11:44 And it was said: "O earth! Swallow up your water, and O sky! Withhold (your rain)." And the water was diminished and the Decree (of Allah) was fulfilled. And it (the ship) rested on Mount Judi, and it was said: "Away with the people who are Zalimun!"
11:45 Noah called out to his Lord, saying, “My Lord! Certainly my son is ˹also˺ of my family, Your promise is surely true, and You are the most just of all judges!”
11:46 Allah replied, “O Noah! He is certainly not of your family—he was entirely of unrighteous conduct. So do not ask Me about what you have no knowledge of! I warn you so you do not fall into ignorance.”
11:47 Noah pleaded, “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking You about what I have no knowledge of, and unless You forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be one of the losers.”
11:48 Noah was told, "Get down from the Ark. Your Lord's peace and blessings are upon you and your followers. Your Lord will grant favors to other nations and then afflict them with a painful torment."
11:49 This is one of the stories of the unseen, which we reveal to you ˹O Prophet˺. Neither you nor your people knew it before this. So be patient! Surely the ultimate outcome belongs ˹only˺ to the righteous.
23:23 And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah ; you have no deity other than Him; then will you not fear Him?"
23:24 But the chiefs of those who disbelieved among his people said: "He is no more than a human being like you, he seeks to make himself superior to you. Had Allah willed, He surely could have sent down angels; never did we hear such a thing among our fathers of old.
23:25 He is only an insane person. Wait for some time. Perhaps he will come to his senses."
23:26 Nuh said: "O my Lord! Help me because they deny me."
23:27 So We inspired him (saying): "Construct the ship under Our Eyes and under Our Revelation (guidance). Then, when Our Command comes, and the oven gushes forth water, take on board of each kind two (male and female), and your family, except those thereof against whom the Word has already gone forth. And address Me not in favour of those who have done wrong. Verily, they are to be drowned.
23:28 Then when you and those with you have settled in the Ark, say, “All praise is for Allah, Who saved us from the wrongdoing people.”
23:29 And say, 'My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us].' "
23:30 Surely in this are lessons. And We ˹always˺ put ˹people˺ to the test.
29:14 And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years minus fifty years, and the flood seized them while they were wrongdoers.
29:15 But We saved him and the companions of the ship, and We made it a sign for the worlds.
54:9 The people of Nuh denied (their Messenger) before them, they rejected Our servant, and said: "A madman!"and he was driven out.
54:10 So he cried out to his Lord, “I am helpless, so help ˹me˺!”
54:11 So We opened the gates of the sky with pouring rain,
54:12 And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs. So the waters (of the heaven and the earth) met for a matter predestined.
54:13We carried him on that ˹Ark made˺ of planks and nails,
54:14 Floating under Our Eyes, a reward for him who had been rejected!
54:15We certainly left this as a sign. So is there anyone who will be mindful?
54:16 Then how (terrible) was My Torment and My warnings?
